Rosetta - Language Translator

An open-sourced tool for translating English to Abyssal glyphs.
Rosetta - Language Translator

During The Path of the Purple Eye, my party came across a large block of Abyssal runes inscribed on a wall while exploring the sewers in our latest session and I wanted it to include a meaningful message. The problem I ran into was that there wasn’t a good translator out there that could take a block of English text and translate it to the runes. I built Rosetta to solve that problem.

It should come in handy for anyone running Descent into Avernus, Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, or any other campaign where you want to feature demons.

Currently, Rosetta only supports Abyssal, but that could change in the future.

English Text

Let’s plunge ourselves into the roar of time

Pain and pleasure, success and failure mine

With this gift, our child, the deal is finished

The wicked one, not the wicked ones, has vanished
